What You’ll Do
As a Cabinetmaker with us, you’ll have the chance to work on unique, high-quality projects from start to finish, including:
Operating woodworking machines (saws, jointers, mortisers, shapers) to cut, shape, and form parts
Preparing specifications for custom-made cabinets that maximize space and style
Shaping surfaces and edges using hand tools (planes, chisels, wood files)
Studying plans, specifications, or drawings to bring designs to life
Using CADD and other computer software for precision work
Trimming joints, assembling components, and reinforcing structures
Sanding, staining, veneering, and polishing wood surfaces
Applying varnishes and laminated plastics for beautiful finishes
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Estimating costs and materials for projects
Repairing or restyling wooden furniture and fixtures
Mentoring apprentices and working alongside a great team
Skills & Experience We’re Looking For
Education: Secondary (high school) graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: 1 to 2 years in cabinetmaking or woodworking
Specialization in: Cabinets, built-in units, millwork, or furniture/cabinet remodeling
Ability to handle up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Strong manual dexterity and ability to stand for extended periods
A passion for quality craftsmanship
