Job Overview:
We are seeking a strategic, results-driven, and innovative leader to manage the deployment team. The ideal candidate will bring both technical expertise and relationship acumen, with the goal of optimizing deployment plans across Canada. They will be expected to improve specialized systems and operational processes as well as foster a culture of growth and collaboration within team members and among cross-functional stakeholders.
Duties:
• Systems Control: Overseeing planning systems and maintaining RTM inputs to achieve effective inventory deployment. Accountable for regulatory compliance procedures related to inventory deployment.
• Process Improvement: Challenging the status quo and implementing enhancements to streamline workflows for efficiency, balancing time-saving automation and customer service.
• Project Management: Leading deployment-related projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and timely execution.
• KPI Ownership: Monitoring, analyzing, and improving deployment metrics (such as inventory out-of-range, direct shipments, & touchless), focusing on both service level and cost. Developing and presenting reports for senior leadership.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating with Logistics and Commercial teams to align on key initiatives and communicate plans effectively.
• Leadership & Mentorship: Guiding and developing team members to foster collaboration, growth, and excellence.
• Problem-Solving: Assessing escalations and implementing sustainable solutions accordingly.
• Strategic Thinking: Developing short-term strategies and long-term visions to support team and business objectives.
• People Management: Develop strong talent pipeline through interviewing, hiring & training.
• Culture Ambassador: Connect logistics performance to Labatt’s culture & 10 Principles.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or another technical field is required
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience at a professional level in project management, business administration, logistics or other related fields
• Knowledge of supply chain fundamentals and ERP experience (SAP & 09 knowledge required)
• Strong analytical skills, including Excel & Power BI development
• Demonstrated leadership skills, with a proven track record of communication, stakeholder management, and team connection
• Ability to be flexible and embrace challenges to bring positive change and process improvement
• Organized with a sense of urgency and focus in delivering concrete results
