Hours: 40 per week
Location - Greater Victoria Region - Vancouver Island
H&R Pro Group of Companies Inc. and its subsidiaries have been serving Vancouver Island for over 30 years. Based out of Victoria, BC we take on projects all over the Island.
To support our day-to-day operations, we are looking to hire a permanent full-time Cladding Installer.
To be successful in this position, the ideal candidate must have:
•3 years’ experience in residential and commercial cladding installation.
•Technical knowledge of all cladding assemblies & window prep/installation.
•Fall Protection Training required.
•Manlift ticket required.
•Boom Lift, Telehandler and Forklift tickets an asset.
•First Aid Level 1 required.
•Experience working at heights in all weather conditions.
•Ability to work independently & with a crew.
•Capacity to frequently lift 50lbs or more.
•A valid BC driver’s license, clean driver’s abstract & own transportation.
•Proficiency in the English language (Language of Work)
Duties include, but are not limited to:
•Installation, maintenance, repair and/or removal of cladding assemblies (composite, metal, ACM, high density fiber, as well as low density cementitious products).
•Installation of weatherproofing/rainscreen systems.
•Preparation and installation of windows.
•Utilize and maintain power tools as required.
•Operating site machinery as needed (boom lift, scissor lift, forklift or telehandler).
•Site and/or Storage yard clean up when required.
•Report to Project Manager, Site Foreman or Safety Coordinator regarding any safety issues/requirements.
This is a permanent full-time position, with competitive wages based on experience and a comprehensive benefits package (including extended medical, dental and Group RRSP program after 6 months).
