Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineering Lead to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end systems. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly applications. The ideal candidate is a problem solver with a strong understanding of modern web technologies and a passion for building robust software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize RESTful APIs & microservices using PHP and Node.js for a high-volume POS system.
- Create Cordova JS plugins to enable communication between Android and iOS devices and the POS system.
- Integrate Fuiou Pay, Alipay, and WeChat Pay to support digital payments.
- Localize and translate the POS system for the Chinese market, adapting the WeChat Mini Program for regional needs.
- Implement the government tax invoicing system to automate tax compliance.
- Integrate Sunmi, Ingenico, Pax, Clover, and Octopus (Hong Kong) payment hardware for international markets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
- Proficiency in front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js).
- Strong experience with back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Ruby, Java, or .NET).
- Experience with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
