Simplex Mechanical Ltd., located at 14216 88 Avenue, Surrey, BC, V3W 3L7 urgently requires two permanent and full time Sheet Metal Workers. We welcome and encourage Youth, New immigrants, and Aboriginal people to apply.
Job Duties:
• Read drawings and work specifications.
• Measure and mark sheet metal according to template.
• Work with computerized equipment such as lasers, shears to cut, bend or straighten sheet metal.
• Cut materials using power tools or by hand.
• Install and use rigging and hoisting equipment.
• Fasten seams or joints by welding, bolting, riveting, or soldering.
• Trim, file, grind, or smooth surfaces by using light metal working machines.
• Install sheet metal products.
• Inspect completed work to ensure proper installation.
• Fabricate products such as air and heat ducts, ventilation shafts and exhaust hoods.
• Supervise other workers.
Job Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school is required.
Experience: Minimum two years of experience in the relevant field is required.

Language: English is required.
Salary: $36.75 per hour for 40 hours per week along with 4% Vacation pay.
