Responsibilities:
• Assist with the installation of granite, quartz, and other stone countertops.
• Load, unload, and move construction materials to work areas.
• Set up and remove basic site structures such as scaffolding and barriers.
• Operate hand and power tools under supervision.
• Prepare work areas by cleaning surfaces and removing debris.
• Mix and apply materials like adhesive, grout, or sealant.
• Keep the job site clean and organized.
• Follow safety procedures and use proper protective equipment.
• Support installers with measuring, lifting, and positioning stone.
• Perform general labour duties as needed on residential or commercial sites.
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school is required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in construction, renovation, or stone countertop installation is an asset, especially in residential or custom-built projects.
- Ability to safely operate basic construction tools and equipment, such as hammers, drills, grinders, lifting straps, and power saws.
- Able to follow instructions and collaborate effectively with site supervisors, installers, and other team members.
- A valid Class G driver’s license is preferred, as work may involve travel to various job sites.
