Responsibilities:
Coordinate the flow of materials and products within the fabrication shop, warehouse, and on-site installations to ensure timely project completion.
Track and manage inventory of natural stone, quartz, and other countertop materials using digital systems and physical counts.
Prepare orders by assembling materials and ensuring all required components are loaded and staged for delivery or shop processing.
Maintain accurate documentation including shipment records, packing slips, and material transfers.
Communicate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to monitor supply chain and delivery timelines.
Assist in receiving incoming deliveries, verifying accuracy, and storing materials in accordance with company procedures.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment safely and in accordance with training.
Support installers and fabricators by ensuring timely availability of required materials and tools at workstations or job sites.
Ensure that shop and warehouse areas are kept clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent education is required.
-Previous experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics role (especially in construction or stone fabrication environments) is an asset.
-Familiarity with inventory control systems and shipping software is preferred.
-Valid forklift license or willingness to obtain one is an advantage.
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple priorities effectively.
-Good communication skills in English and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
