We are seeking Food Services Managers at 1050 Paignton House Road, Minett, ON P0B 1G0, Canada.

JOB DUTIES:
Oversee daily operations of the resort’s food and beverage outlets, including Muskoka Chophouse, The Rosseau, Teca, Lakes Bar, in-room dining, and seasonal venues.
Ensure exceptional dining experiences that reflect the luxury standards of JW Marriott and the natural elegance of the Muskoka region.
Supervise, train, and lead a high-performing team of culinary, service, and support staff across multiple restaurant environments.
Collaborate with the Executive Chef to design and refine menus that highlight seasonal, locally sourced ingredients and regional Canadian cuisine.
Maintain seamless service coordination for large-scale resort events, including weddings, corporate retreats, and private functions, ensuring high guest satisfaction.
Manage inventory, vendor relationships, and procurement processes to support the resort’s commitment to quality and sustainability.
Monitor and control departmental budgets, labour costs, and food costs while optimizing revenue opportunities from dining and event services.
Ensure all food service operations meet or exceed Marriott International brand standards and Ontario’s public health regulations.
Engage with guests to gather feedback and resolve concerns, maintaining the resort’s reputation for personalized and attentive service.
Lead initiatives focused on guest experience enhancement, upselling, and staff training to drive performance and brand loyalty.
Work closely with the resort’s marketing and events teams to support seasonal promotions, special dining events, and culinary experiences.
Support the resort’s sustainability practices, including minimizing food waste, reducing plastic use, and incorporating eco-friendly service alternatives.


Prerequisites:

Education: Secondary school or equivalent
Language: English
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the relevant field.
Annual Salary: $67000 to $72000 for 30 hours to 40 hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Full-time and permanent
