Salary: $36.00 hourly for 30 to 44 hours per week

Qualification:
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English is required;
- Completion of secondary (high) school is required;
- 2 year to less than 3 years of work experience as a hairstylist is required.
Job duties:
- Manage day-to-day hair salon operations;
- Implement and improve policies, operational procedures and rules;
- Conduct recruiting activities and interviews to hire hairstylists, assistants and receptionists;
- Train assistants and receptionists in job duties, the hair salon policies, concept and operational procedures;
- Supervise and manage staff;
- Direct and motivate staff;
- Schedule staff;
- Respond to phone calls, emails and clients' inquiries;
- Handle clients' complaints such as addressing their concerns and resolving their problems;
- Control and manage bookings for each hairstylist;
- Maintain and manage inventory, and place orders for supplies and products on a weekly basis, together with the owner;
- Manage the cash register and payment system: opening and closing, handling payments, balancing cash, modifying and troubleshooting hardware and software;
- Prepare a daily sales report and keep the owner posted on a daily basis;
- Control and manage the tidying up and cleaning of the salon;
- Assist the owner in conducting marketing and advertising activities.
