Job requirements:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field. Certifications in Maintenance Management, Project Management (e.g., PMP), or relevant food and beverage industry certifications are a plus.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management within the food and beverage production industry.
• Extensive experience with Krones filling lines and carbonated beverage filling lines maintenance, including troubleshooting, repairs, and system upgrades.
• Experience with production line automation and PLC systems is preferred.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage production line operations, specifically filling and bottling processes.
• Ability to handle preventive and corrective maintenance on Krones and similar filling lines, including troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks.
• Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations within the food and beverage industry.
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
Job Duties:
• Oversee the daily maintenance operations of the Krones filling lines and carbonated beverage production lines, ensuring optimal performance.
• Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance schedules for filling lines and other production equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade systems on the Krones lines, ensuring minimal downtime during production.
• Supervise and train maintenance teams to handle the specific requirements of food and beverage production machinery, ensuring quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth operation and troubleshoot issues in real-time.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and ensure all necessary components are available for rapid repairs.
• Prepare reports and maintain logs on the performance and maintenance of production equipment.
• Ensure that the production lines meet regulatory requirements for food and beverage manufacturing, including safety and quality control standards.
