Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Personal and social adjustment and health (substance abuse, gambling, behaviour disorders). Socio-economic needs or conditions (housing, nutrition, unemployment, financial assistance). Work setting: Community agency. Women's shelter. Social service or charity agency. Private residence. Associations and non profit organizations. Tasks: Supervise support staff. Administrative and office activities. Appraise clients' needs or eligibility for specific services. Resolve conflict situations. Liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients. Maintain program statistics for purposes of evaluation and research. Supervise office and volunteer staff. Supervision: 5-10 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Emergency child care first aid and CPR. Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate. Cultural Awareness Training. Target audience: Females. Computer and technology knowledge: Electronic mail. MS Office.
