We have an opportunity for a full time Bakery Key Holder. Duties include:
• Prepare dough, bake pies and make toppings.
• Make and decorate sweets, desserts and other baked goods.
• Oversee the bakery operations.
• Determine the type and quantity of items to be produced by the bakery and schedule accordingly.
• Purchase baking supplies.
• Ensure all products are produced in line with Peaked Pies company standards.
• Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods.
• Train and supervise staff.
• Assist with the hiring of new staff.
• Oversee the closing of the store and attend to the cash out in the absence of a Supervisor or Restaurant Manager.
• Serve customers, restock items in the store, and perform cleaning duties as required.
Job requirements:
• 1-2 years previous experience in a café, restaurant or bakery.
• Must have valid Foodsafe Level 1 certificate.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings.
Working conditions:
• Wage: $18 per hour + gratuities. Potential for increases based on length of service.
• Benefits: Extended Health Care benefits are available after an eligibility period has been completed. Summer bonus and ski pass contribution in the winter (both dependent on business levels and hours worked during the summer and winter season). Staff meals and discounts.
• Vacation: paid at 4% of gross earnings.
