Description

Working closely with the HR Generalists, Human Resources Administrators provide administrative and general human resources support that may include but not limited to recruitment, project and planning, maintain personnel documentation, assist in arranging training activities, file maintenance and various daily administrative tasks.

This job is  on-site and must be willing to relocate in Englefeld/Humboldt or surrounding area.

1.    Assist with document management and control.
2.    Assist with administrating and developing forms.
3.    Support the HR department in updating the company procedures.
4.    Pre-screen candidates, and other recruitment-related tasks.
5.    Assist with developing and updating employee orientation and onboarding, and other related tasks.
6.    Prepare general communications (such as general memos, general letters, etc.) for employees for communication on TVs, bulletin boards, etc.
7.    Communicate with hiring managers with job descriptions.
8.    Provide support and/or participate in job fairs as directed.
9.    Support Human Resources Department with projects and programs.
10.    Participate in Safety Programs and initiatives.
11.    Other tasks as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):
Strong analytical skills
Self-starter and can work under minimum supervision in a fast paced environment.
High attention to detail
Professional and confidential
Extensive computer knowledge including Microsoft Office
Familiar with Human Resources concepts, legislation and employment law.
Able to prioritize workloads.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Able to work and communicate well with other departments and employees to answer questions about HR-related functions and other areas.

Education and Experience:
Completion of college or diploma in Human Resources education at an accredited institution.
1-3 years experience in Human Resources.
Working towards CPHR is considered an asset but not required.
