Northern Lights School Division No. 113 requires a talented, ambitious and self-motivated program coordinator that can work independently and with other team members. The program coordinator will serve as the primary contact between the Northern Lights School Division Sandy Bay site and collaborate with the Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation program coordinator and the University of Saskatchewan, College of Arts and Science and the College of Education.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Bachelor of Education Degree
- superior interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills
- exemplary organizational and planning skills
- fluency in the Cree, Michif and/or Dene languages
The successful candidate will be able to:
- learn the program for program planning, advising, and support purposes;
- assist in communication;
- liaise between the Director of Education, Northern Lights School Division Senior Admin team, and the College of Arts and Science and the College of Education;
- consult with the Field Experiences Office of the Programs Office for coordination, field experience placement, and ensuring students meet all necessary requirements before engaging in field experiences; and
support instructors and students in the program,
- demonstrate strong educational and cultural leadership skills evidenced by successful accomplishments
Housing and moving allowance may be available for the successful candidate. This position is full-time temporary and will start as soon as possible.
