Description

Western Water Management is seeking to add a talented Irrigation Solutions Professional to their team.

As Irrigation Solutions Professional, you will be responsible for providing technical design support and assistance with project management on a variety of government and private sector Irrigation development projects.  You will work under the direction of the Manager of Irrigation Sales and Project Management to develop Irrigation projects from initial scope to final commissioning. Hallmarks of success in this role will be your accurate and timely delivery of planning documents, designs, specifications, construction related activities, and commissioning along with more traditional engineering services relating to permitting, regulatory compliance, report preparation and environmental impact studies.

Key Responsibilities and Activities

- Provide technical engineering support to drive the completion of bids and proposals.
- Prepare technical designs, specifications, and construction cost estimates for irrigation and distribution systems including pump stations, pipelines, ponds, and controls for agriculture producers, farming operations, and irrigation districts.
- Identify and develop project leads and assist in preparation of written scopes of work and cost proposals for new projects.
- Manage project coordination including design, scope of work, cost estimating, and contract negotiations.
- Work closely with various design, engineering, and environmental consultants, developers, builders, public agencies, and contractors to ensure that local, regional, and provincial compliance standards are upheld.
