They are seeking skilled <strong>Shipper / Receviers</strong> for their state of the art facility in <strong>Maple Ridge, British Columbia</strong>.<br><br><strong>Job Description:</strong><br />As a Shipper / Receiver, you will play a crucial role in the efficient flow of materials within the organization. Your primary responsibilities will include safely handling, transporting, and organizing materials to ensure timely production and delivery.<br><br><strong>What you will receive: </strong></p><ul><li>Competitive salary ($46,000 - $49,000 depending on experience)</li><li>Excellent day shift (Monday - Friday from 7:00am - 3:30pm)</li><li>Health, dental, and vision insurance</li><li>PTO and vacation</li><li>Opportunities for career advancement</li><li>Ongoing training and development</li><li>A collaborative and supportive work environment</li></ul><p><strong>Key Responsibilities as a Material Handler:</strong></p><ul><li>Safely and efficiently operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks</li><li>Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials in designated storage areas.</li><li>Accurately pick and pack materials for production orders and shipments</li><li>Perform regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records of material movements</li><li>Collaborate with other departments to fulfill material requests and ensure seamless production processes</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and compliance with company standards</li><li>Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks, verifying shipments against packing lists</li></ul><strong>What you will need: </strong><ul><li>Proven experience as a Shipper/Receiver or Material Handler</li><li>Valid forklift certification and experience in operating material handling equipment is preferred</li><li>Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks</li><li>Attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials and maintaining records.</li><li>Strong communication and teamwork skills</li></ul><p><br /><strong>ABOUT US:</strong><br><br>TPD is a leading workforce solutions provider. <br><br>Our mission is to help YOU succeed by providing access to opportunities - jobs, careers, and professional development.
