Most of our ammolite jewelry is handmade, with some pieces specially handcrafted by Indigenous artists from Alberta, Canada.

We are seeking an experienced Vice President to join our team. The ideal candidate is an industry veteran who provides invaluable insight to improve our operational outcomes, including strategic leadership, financial management, sales and marketing prowess, customer relations, talent development, and risk management expertise.

Job Duties:
1. Develop and implement strategic plans to drive our company's growth and profitability including analyzing gemstone industry trends, identifying growth opportunities, and setting long-term objectives for the business.
2. Oversee the sales and marketing operations to increase overall revenue and market share; improve our store’s customer traffic by supervising the marketing campaigns, monitoring shopping behaviours, and implementing incentive programs.
3. Supervise the daily operations of all retail-related business, including inventory management, logistics, and customer service, while providing timely troubleshooting solutions to maintain and improve our business reputation.
4. Foster collaboration and cross-functional alignment among stores and departments to ensure a cohesive approach to achieving organizational objectives. Facilitate inter-departmental meetings, cross-functional projects, or task forces aimed at addressing specific challenges or opportunities.
5. Make resource allocation decisions in consultation with other members of the executive team, department heads, and key stakeholders. Balance competing demands for resources, assessing trade-offs between different initiatives, and ensuring optimal utilization of available resources.
6. Take control of the financial accounts and monitor the key performance indicators to make strategic decisions that improve profitability.
7. Set policies to guide the company's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
8. Lead the whole process of product development, from sourcing gemstones to negotiating with partners and creating compelling merchandising strategies.
9. Optimize customer shopping experience by analyzing feedback to learn the popular demands, adopting new IT services to streamline customer interactions, and facilitating collaboration between teams to ensure a smooth shopping process.
10. Manage the recruitment, training, and career development of middle managers and team leaders.
11. Represent the company to establish and nurture relationships with vital stakeholders, high-networth customers, suppliers, and investors in the industry, with regard to promoting our objectives and cultivating positive connections.
12. Consult with legal services to ensure our business operations adhere to pertinent laws, regulations, and industry standards, as well as implementing protocols to mitigate compliance risks.



Qualifications:
1. A college diploma in Business Administration, Finance, or relevant experience in a similar field is a must.
2. A minimum of three years working in a middle manager capacity or higher rank is mandatory.
3. Past experience concerning the gemstone and jewelry industry is an asset.
4. Excellent strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
5. Possess a strong understanding of retail store business, consumer behavior, and staff management.
6. Excellent critical-thinking skills and communication skills.
7. Display self-initiative and outstanding work ethics.
8. Adaptable and flexible in responding to changing market conditions and business challenges.
