Title of position: CARPENTER (NOC 72310)

Position is full time, Permanent.
Candidate should be high School graduate with basic knowledge of English.
Work experience: 3 to 4 years required.
Wage rate is $31.00 per hour/ 40 hours a week.
Start date: As soon as possible.
Duties
? Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications.
? Preparing layouts using measuring tools for conforming building structures.
? Measuring, Cutting, Shaping and assembling the materials of wood.
? Fitting and installing trim, doors, stairs, moulding and hardware.
? Taking measurements and calculating the size and amount of material needed.
? Repairing and renovating the broken or damaged wooden materials.
? Building or repairing cabinets, frameworks, floors, and other wooden fixtures used in buildings, using machines, hand tools or power tools.
? Building foundations and installing floor beams.
? Following safety rules and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
? Preparing cost estimates for customers.
Work conditions and Physical Capabilities
Working both indoor and outdoor locations. Large workload, physically demanding. Tight deadlines, Bending, crouching, kneeling.
Work Site Environment: Noisy, Dusty, Hot, Cold temperature.
