Wage rate: $23.00 per hour for 40 hrs per week
Education: Secondary education is required
Experience: No prior experience required/will train.
Language: Not required.
Job Duties:
• Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting.
• Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters.
• Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers.
• Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat.
• Remove bones from meat.
• Weigh meats for sale.
• Price meat products.
• Clean and prepare fish and shellfish.
• Supervise other butchers, meat cutters and fishmongers.
• Grind meats.
• Slice cooked meats.
• Prepare special orders and displays of meats, poultry, and fish products.
• Shape, lace and tie roasts and other meats, poultry, or fish.
• May wrap or package fresh or frozen or prepared meats.
Benefits: Relocation expenses will be covered by the employer as well as the first three months of medical insurance, if required.
Work setting: The candidate should be available to work full time in the day, evening or on weekends, if required.
