We're a company that provides human resources and technical support to businesses in the oil and gas industry. We have been contracted by CenerTech to provide manpower support and technical support to its base camp construction. We're looking for a team player who is able to travel quite frequently to our job sites across the province of Alberta, current main location being in Fort McMurray area. The job applicant is expected to perform the following main tasks:
• Assist in developing engineering specifications and drawings;
• Participate in field surveys, inspections or technical investigations;
• Prepare construction specifications, costs and material estimates;
• Prepare project schedules;
• Supervise or conduct field surveys, inspections, technical investigations and testing of construction materials;
• Read and interpret blueprints;
• Determine precise geographic locations using global positioning system (GPS) equipment;
• Prepare detailed drawings, charts and plans and survey notes and reports.
This position requires constant travel because work location my vary.
Applicants are required to have two to three year experience, to be able to cope with fast-paced environment and tight deadlines, be client focused and organized, and have good interpersonal skills.
