At this point, we are looking for a hard-working, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented Drywall Installer to join our team of talented individuals.
Position Details:
• Office Location: 15698 80A Ave, Surrey BC, V4N 0X6 and various locations as per company’s contract
• Position: Drywall Installer (NOC: 73102)
• Number of positions: 5
• Terms of employment: Full-Time, permanent
• Wages: $28.00/hours and 40 hours/week
• Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Position Requirements:
• High School Education is required
• 3 to 4 years of experience is required
• Ability and willingness to work independently with limited supervision
• Positive and cooperative attitude
Job duties:
• Measure, cut and fit drywall to walls or ceilings of residential and commercial buildings
• Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
• Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
• Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using towels and broad knife
• Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
• Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
• Remove plasters, drywall or paneling using crowbar and hammer
