At this point, we are looking for hard-working, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented Carpenter to join our team of talented individuals.
Position Details:
• Office Location: 15698 80A Ave, Surrey BC, V4N 0X6 and various locations as per company’s contract
• Position: Carpenter (NOC: 72310)
• Number of positions: 5
• Terms of employment: Full-Time, permanent
• Wages: $30.00/hours and 40 hours/week.
• Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Position Requirements:
• High School Education is required
• 3 to 4 years of relevant experience is required
• Ability and willingness to work independently with limited supervision
• Positive and cooperative attitude
Job duties:
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings, perform calculations, and prepare layouts
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other material
• Fit and install all types of siding, trimmed wood structures, parts and hardware
• Work on new projects, remodels or additions to existing wooden structures
• Build floor beams and subflooring, build walls and install partitions
• Operate power as well as hand tools
• Supervise other construction workers
• May prepare cost estimates for clients
