Job Description for the position of Administrative Assistant at Abby Labour Contractor Ltd. is as:
• Open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail and other material and coordinate the flow of information.
• To organize and proofread correspondences, reports, official memos, contracts and marketing material; and to produce them using computer word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
• Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings.
• Organize order files (hardcopy and electronic) to keep track of the status and have the records ready whenever needed.
• Maintain and update contact databases pertaining to clients and contractors/sub-contractors.
• Follow up with clients to provide/get the status of orders/projects and disbursement of invoices.
• Keep a record of company employees’ hours of work, and submit a report to management for payroll.
• General clerical duties: filing, faxing, answering phone calls and taking messages.
• Order and keep stock of office supplies and materials, arrange deliveries and make payments.
• Greet visitors, ascertain nature of the business and direct them to contacts or service areas.
• Perform other related duties as required.
Skills and Experience requirement:
• Completion of Secondary Education is required.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience is required.
• Excellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Office.
• Good command of the English language; both oral and written.
