Wage Rate: $23.00 Hourly, for 35-40 Hours per week
Work Location: Candidates are required to work at various locations in Lower Mainland, Greater Vancouver, and Fraser Valley as per company contracts.
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Weekend, Day, Overtime if required.
Education: No education required.
Experience: No work experience required. Training will be provided.
Languages: Basic Knowledge of English.
Job Duties:
• Spread topsoil, lay sod, plant flowers, grass, shrubs, and tress and perform other duties to assist with the construction of a landscape and related structures.
• Cut grass, rake, fertilize and water lawns, weed gardens, prune shrubs and tress, and perform other maintenance duties as directed by supervisor.
• Operate and maintain power mowers, chain saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, pruning saws and other landscape maintenance equipment.
• Grass cutting and trimming.
• Gather and remove litter.
• Attach wires from planted tress to support stakes.
• Perform other duties as required.
Working setting: The candidate should be available to work full-time in the day or evening or on weekends, overtime if required.
Work Conditions: Candidate should be able to lift weight (50lbs). Should be willing to work outdoors, indoors, rain, or shine.
Other Information: Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada. Position is available and open to Aboriginal persons, youth, new immigrants, and persons with disabilities.
