Education: High School
Work experience: 3 to 4 years of experience is required
Language: Basic English
Job Duties:
? Reading blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems.
Installing, repairing and maintaining domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing systems.
Marking positions for pipe connections and fixtures in walls and floors.
Cutting openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
Measuring, cutting, bending and installing pipes using hand and power tools.
Joining pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment.
Testing pipes for leaks and welding pipes.
May help in preparing cost estimates.
Work Site Environment: Noisy, Dusty, Hot, Cold temperature.
Work conditions and Physical Capabilities: Large workload, physically demanding, Tight deadlines, Bending, crouching, kneeling
