Wage rate: $28.00 / hour, 40 hours/ week
Work Location: Various locations all over lower mainland
Anticipated start date: As soon as possible
Education: High School
Work experience: 3 to 4 years of experience is required
Language: Basic English
Job Duties:
Reading and interpreting drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations.
Installing and maintaining lighting fixture, electrical control and distribution equipment.
Pulling wire through conduits and through holes in walls and floors.
Testing continuity of circuits using test equipment to ensure compatibility and safety of system, following installation, replacement or repair.
Troubleshooting electronic systems and replacing faulty components.
Connecting power to communications equipment, signalling devices and heating and cooling systems.
Conducting preventive maintenance programs.
Work Site Environment: Noisy, Dusty, Hot, Cold temperature.
Work conditions and Physical Capabilities: Large workload, physically demanding, Tight deadlines, Bending, crouching, kneeling
