Wage rate: $30.00 / hour, 40 hours/ week
Work Location: Various locations all over lower mainland
Anticipated start date: As soon as possible
Education: High School
Work experience: 3 to 4 years of experience is required
Language: Basic English
Job Duties:
Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawing and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
Measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling and joining materials of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
Assisting supervisors with structural design, planning, layout and installation.
Constructing building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes.
Inspect and replace damaged framework.
Maintaining and repairing residences and wooden structures in various establishments.
Instruct and direct apprentices and other construction helpers and workers.
Work Site Environment: Noisy, Dusty, Hot, Cold temperature.
Work conditions and Physical Capabilities: Large workload, physically demanding, Tight deadlines, Bending, crouching, kneeling
