Position: Food Service Supervisor
Job Type: Full Time; Permanent
Salary: CAN $27.50/hr.
Location: Surrey, BC
Working Hours: 40 hrs/ weekly
Position Available: 1
Job Requirements:
• Completion of Secondary School is required.
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience is required.
• Basic knowledge of English is required.
• Knowledge of Hindi or Punjabi will be an asset.
Job Duties:
• Supervise, direct, and coordinate the activities of workers who prepare, portion, and serve food in a restaurant.
• Order inventories and keep track of the food cost, sales and wastage.
• Hire and train staff according to the job code.
• Supervise and check on the restaurant's proper sanitation and food standards.
• Ensure proper food temperatures are set and meet quality control standards
• Prepare work schedules and make sure all shifts are covered.
• Make cash deposits and daily sales reports
