Candidates must be motivated, willing to take on dirty, physically demanding duties. The role requires early mornings, assisting skilled trades people, cleaning and prepping job sites , loading and unloading construction materials and equipment. Responsibilities/ Tasks
Load, unload and transport construction materials
Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs
Level earth to fine grade specifications
Perform routine maintenance work
Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
Read and interpret blueprints
Experience and specialization
Equipment and machinery experience- Chippers, Jackhammers, Air guns, Nail guns, Drills, Augers, Sledgehammer
Construction specialization- Residential
