Aurora Marble and Granite Inc. is currently seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. We specialize in crafting stone products of exceptional quality at competitive prices. As a CNC Machinist, you will play a pivotal role in upholding our commitment to excellence by executing custom designs with precision and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret client specifications from blueprints and sketches into operation plans.
- Set up CNC machine with appropriate fixtures, attachments, and tools to ensure accurate cutting.
- Collaborate with designers and supervisors to ensure alignment between project plans and final products.
- Develop CNC programs to execute precise cuts on stone materials based on custom designs.
- Generate CAD drawings for countertops and islands in accordance with project requirements.
- Monitor cutting processes, make necessary adjustments, and proactively identify and address errors.
- Conduct thorough inspections of finished products to uphold quality standards.
- Assist with assembly and fitting of components when necessary.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to optimize machine performance and longevity.
- Support inventory management by measuring and organizing materials as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety protocols in the work area.
Terms of Employment:
- Permanent position
- Language of work: English
- Wage: $29/hour, 35 hours per week
- Benefits: Ten days of annual vacation

Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma
- Experience: Minimum of six months in a similar role
- Experience in computer-aided design (CAD) and operating CNC machines
Skills:
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Physical stamina for demanding tasks
- Capable of handling weights up to 45kg
