We are looking to hire 2 skilled carpenters with knowledge of various carpentry techniques. You will be responsible for the layout, installation, repair, finishing, and maintenance of various structures, fixtures, and buildings.
Job Details:
Title: Carpenter
Terms of Employment: 30 to 40 hours per week
Overtime will start after 40 hours a week.
Salary – $30/hr
Hours – 30 – 40 hours a week
Job Responsibilities:
-Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
-Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
-Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
-Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings and hardware
-Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites
Job Requirements:
Education: High school is required.
Experience: 1 year or less than 2 years.
Language: Knowledge of Basic English.
