Job title: Restaurant Manager
Brampton Authentic Indian Food is a highly esteemed venue for buffet and menu à la carte and caters for special events such as wedding receptions, business meetings/conferences and corporate dinner parties. Brampton Authentic Indian Food has opened a new dining area and is well known for its high standard of culinary excellence. We are urgently looking for a highly experienced, Restaurant Manager with at least 2 years of experience in managing, planning and organizing the operation of a restaurant or similar business.
Job Description:
As a full-time Restaurant Manager, you will be required to work morning, evening and weekend. The applicant should be team worker, punctual, proactive, outgoing and dependable and be required to perform the following tasks:
• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of the restaurant
• Organize stock and equipment, order supplies and oversee cleanliness and security
• Plan and work to budgets, maximize profits and achieve sales targets
• Follow all pre-determined restaurant standards of operation, policies and procedures
• Control inventory, monitor revenues and administer payrolls
• Recruit new staff, and train and develop existing staff
• Coordinate staff scheduling and rotation, and motivate and encourage staff to achieve targets
• Ensure standards of hygiene are maintained and that the restaurant complies with health and safety regulations
• Review product quality and search for new business vendors.
• Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained
• Implement and instill in your team company policies, procedures and ethics
• Handle customer complaints and queries
• Establish relationships with the local community and undertake activities that comply with the company's corporate social responsibility programs
