Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate orally in English is required
- Completion of secondary (high) school is required
- 2 years to less than 3 years of work experience as a cook is required
Job duties:
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods;
- Prepare ingredients and cook ramen, udon noodle dishes, and donburi dishes;
- Prepare and cook a la carte menu such as Takoyaki, Agegyoza and Karaage;
- Prepare and present Sushi Rolls, and Bowl dishes;
- Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies;
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas;
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food;
- Order supplies and equipment;
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment;
- Clean kitchen and work areas.
