Job Description
• Under the direction (presence) of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, carry out treatment programs such as thermotherapy, traction, hydrotherapy and electrotherapeutic techniques to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities to maximize their ability to independently manage daily activities.
• Assist during assessment of patients and carry out treatment programs and develop materials for use with patients.
• Carry out treatment programs, under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities.
• Collect and analyse information from clients' file upon referral from the physiotherapist.
• Clean and maintain equipment.
• Schedule and confirm appointments.
• Prepare and maintain cleanliness of collection areas.
• Maintain clinical and progress reports.
• Maintain prescription records.
