Job Description
As a full-time Security Guard Supervisor –the applicant should be a team worker, punctual, proactive, outgoing and dependable.
As a Security Guard Supervisor, the main duties and responsibilities will be:
• Co-ordinate, assign and review the work of security guards.
• Train new security guards on job duties, safety procedures and company policies.
• Establish work schedules and procedures and co-ordinate activities with other work units.
• Deploy the security guards during their shifts.
• Enforce client rules and regulations in relation to Trespass Act, Criminal Code and other statutes and by-laws required by the company.
• Provide immediate response to crisis dispatches for commercial and retail clients, including intrusions, critical systems, medical/life or other safety alarms.
• Monitor security guards to enforce the security and safety programs.
• Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress reports.
• Hire and train new staff on safety procedures and company policies.
• Provide training and development to Security guards.
• Implement security and various safety measures, company policies, procedures, and ethic.
Skills:
• Able to work at a rapid pace while maintaining attention to detail; ability to multi-task.
• Good supervisory skills.• Must be skilled in time management.
• Must have teaching and motivational skills.

Salary: $27.50 per hour
