Position: Electrician (Permanent/Full Time)

Company Description Amco & Harp Electric Ltd. a residential and commercial construction company. We are looking for a passionate and hardworking person for electrician position.
As an Electrician your job description would be as follows:
· Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations
· Pull wire through conduits and through holes in walls and floors
· Install brackets and hangers to support electrical equipment
· Install, replace, and repair lighting fixtures and electrical control and distribution equipment, such as switches, relays, and circuit breaker panels
· Splice, join and connect wire to fixtures and components to form circuits
· Test continuity of circuits using test equipment to ensure compatibility and safety of system, following installation, replacement, or repair
· Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records.
Education: Secondary education required
Essential Skills: Able to work in fast paced environment, be physically able to handle heavy equipment
Language Requirements: Must be able to communicate in English
Salary: $27.50 hourly for 30-40 hours/week
Experience: 2-3 years of experience in commercial or residential projects
Job Location: All over lower mainland area depending upon contracts.
