Work Location: Candidate is required to work at various locations in Lower Mainland, Greater Vancouver, as per company contracts.
Wage rate:$23.00 per hour (40 hours per week)
Education: No Education required
Experience: No experience required, on job training will be provided.
Language: Basic Knowledge of English.
Job Duties:
Load and unload construction materials and move materials to work areas.
Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ladders etc. required at construction sites.
Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs.
Assist trade person in construction activities.
Assist trade person to secure/unsecure special attachments to equipment and provide assistance in other activities.
Assist in aligning wooden structures, mouldings and perform related activities.
Remove rubble and other debris at work sites.
Tend or feed machines or equipment used in carpentry.
Perform other activities at construction sites, as direct
Working setting: The candidate should be available to work full-time in the day or evening or on weekends, if required.
Working Conditions: Candidate should be able to lift weight (50lbs). Should be willing to work outdoors, indoors, rain, or shine.
Other Information: Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada. Position is available and open to Aboriginal persons, youth & new immigrants.
