Position: Procurement Specialist
Wage: C$ 28.50 Per hour, 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week
Term: Full-time, Permanent
Language: English
Work Location: 9 Carrington Place, Halifax NS, B3S 1K2
Duties:
• Analyze customer needs and develop equipment, material, and service plans based on the budget.
• Develop procurement plans based on company operations and order status.
• Negotiate with suppliers and evaluate quotations.
• Monitor delivery timelines and create procurement execution schedules.
• Conduct on-site visits and research when necessary to assess suitable resources.
• Resolve issues raised by customers and suppliers.
Skill requirement:
• Experience working as a Purchasing Clerk or Administrative Clerk is preferred.
• Completion of a college diploma.
• Business Administration, Business or Economics majors preferred.
