Eastern Fortune Restaurant is looking for Two (2) Kitchener Helper NOC 65201
Duties and responsibilities as Kitchen Helper are as follow:
Assist in washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
Prepare basic components of dishes, such as sauces, dressings, and marinades.
Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment.
Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other cooking utensils.
Empty trash bins regularly.
Maintain cleanliness in food storage areas.
Unpack and organize deliveries of food and supplies.
Monitor and restock kitchen inventory as needed.
Keep track of expiration dates on perishable items.
Support chefs and cooks in the preparation of meals.
Follow recipes and instructions for various dishes.
Handle basic cooking tasks, such as boiling or frying items under supervision.
Assist in setting up the kitchen before service.
Help in the arrangement and organization of ingredients and tools.
Clean and organize the kitchen at the end of the shift.
Operate dishwashing equipment and ensure proper cleaning of dishes.
Hand wash items that require special care.
Dry and store dishes appropriately.
Ensure that plates are clean and free of smudges before serving.
Adhere to safety and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
Collaborate with cooks, chefs, and other kitchen team members.
Be flexible and willing to take on various tasks as needed.
Handle unexpected situations and changes in the kitchen routine.
