• Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook traditional style Japanese dishes and side dishes from the menu
- Create high quality Japanese dishes including roll, Sushi, Maki, Sources and so on.
- Prepare special dishes for customers with food allergies or in tolerances
- Manage kitchen operations
- Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs,
and monitor and order supplies
- Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal judgment,
using various kitchen utensils and equipment
- Check the quality of raw and cooked products
- Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Estimate expected food consumption and order ingredients/supplies
- Clean and inspect kitchen and work areas
- Oversee kitchen operations
• Education: Academic: Secondary school graduation certificate required
• Experience: 1 year of related cooking experience is required
