Carpenter
YOUR ROLES WILL INCLUDE:
• Responsibility for construction of our projects to a high quality standard
• Maintenance of professional safety & behaviour standards on our projects
• You must have the ability to read and build from drawings
• Material planning and ordering – take offs
• Performing quality control inspections
• Planning daily activities necessary to implement construction activities
• Completing scheduled work on budget and on time
• Rough carpentry, finish carpentry, drywall, appliance installation fixture and hardware installation, door and window installation, shower installations
• A basic understanding of plumbing, electrical and HVAC rough-ins; tiling, hardwood and siding installations
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
• 3+ years’ experience
• Completion of secondary school
• Ability to read and build from blueprints and drawings
• Ability to work individually with a minimal supervision
• Strong interpersonal skills to work in a team
• Able to handle heavy loads
• Highly organized and able to multi-task
WORKING CONDITIONS:
• Work is physically demanding and involves frequent bending, crouching, kneeling
• Some work activities will occur after normal business hours i.e. evenings and weekends

POSITION TYPE:
Permanent, Full-Time - 40 hours per week
Salary - $32.50 per hour
Incremental wage raise available based on performance
