Job duties:
- Supervise and co-ordinate the kitchen staff to ensure their duties are performed effectively and efficiently for the benefit of our customers
- Train new kitchen staff and ensure they meet company standards for food safety and sanitation procedures
- Create work schedules and ensure effective staffing solutions to manage customer demands
- Create orders for ingredients and supplies that are required for meal preparation
- Maintain records of food usage and waste, and establish strategies to minimize losses
- Co-ordinate the repair and maintenance of all kitchen equipment and appliances
- Ensure high quality is maintained in food prepared by the kitchen through training and performance reviews
- Participate in the development of menu items and seasonal specials
Terms of employment: Full-time, permanent position; day, evening, and weekend shifts; may be required to work a variety of shifts to meet the training needs of kitchen staff
Wage: $18.65/hour
Benefits: Free meals available during work shifts.

Education required: Completion of high school is required. Completion of restaurant management diploma/certificate program, or related discipline, may substitute for required work experience.
Work experience required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in the food service industry is required.
Language requirement: Fluent communication in English is required.
