We are actively seeking an experienced and full-time permanent bookkeeper to join us.The work location is at 8 Caribou Road, Corner Brook, NL.
Job Title: Bookkeeper (Noc 12200)
Job Type: Full time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records by overseeing diverse accounts.
Record up-to-date journal entries and reconcile accounts.
Consistently prepare trial balances, payroll documents, T4 forms, and financial statements.
Issue cheques for payrolls, taxes, and miscellaneous expenses.
Submit forms pertaining to tax remittances, workers' compensation, pension contributions, and other government documents.
Generate required statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
Requirement:
Completion of secondary school is required.
A college diploma or course in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field is preferred.
At least 1 year’s experience as a bookkeeper or similar role.
Previous work experience with bookkeeper software is preferred.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Good in Excel
Attention to detail
Proficient in English
Fluent in a second language will be an asset.
Compensation:
The wage for this position is $29.00 per hour
Work hours: Monday-Friday, 35 hours/week
10 days of vacation yearly or 4% of annual remuneration
