Key Responsibilities:
Lead, supervise, and evaluate the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, overseeing aspects such as inventory management, sales, procedural efficiency, and pricing strategies.
Ensure an enjoyable catering experience for customers while implementing operational procedures.
Recruit and mentor staff, providing guidance on menu selections and clearance processes.
Supervise and direct staff, managing work schedules, attitudes, and performance in daily activities.
Address and resolve customer complaints to maintain satisfaction.
Maintain control over service quality and ensure compliance with legislation and regulations.
Negotiate with suppliers for the procurement of food and other essential supplies.
Engage in negotiations with clients for catering services or facility usage.
Requirement:
Completion of secondary school is required.
Completion of a community college program in hospitality or food and beverage service management or a related field is preferred.
1 year’s experience in the food serving industry, including supervisory experience, is required.
Good organizational management
Good communication and conflict management
Leadership, client-oriented, multi-tasking
Proficient in English
Fluent in a second language will be an asset
Compensation:
The wage for this position is $22.00 per hour
Working hours: Monday-Sunday, 40 hours/week
10 days of vacation yearly or 4% of annual remuneration
