AJISHOU Japanese Cuisine is a restaurant that is dedicated to providing traditional Japanese food. Ajishou means “craftsman of taste” in Japanese and symbolizes our approach to serving the best local and imported fish and seafood to meet the highest standards of quality, freshness and seasonality, while combining both modern-creative and traditional Japanese cooking.

We are now looking for an experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team, who will be responsible for overseeing the efficient running and addressing customers' complaints or concerns of restaurants. You will be expected to ensure the safety and freshness of food, as well as maintain high productivity, quality, and customer service standards. To be successful in this role, you should have at least two years of experience as a food service supervisor and be available to work during our opening hours. We are currently focusing on developing our reputation in Vancouver, as our mission to attract more customers.

Main Responsibilities:
• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
• Hire food service staff
• Ensure food service and quality control
• Address customers' complaints or concerns
• Prepare and submit reports
• Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres
• Supervise and check assembly of trays
• Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
• Establish work schedules

Minimum Requirement:
• Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management;
• Minimum two years experience as a food service supervisor;
• Familiar with sanitation regulations;
• High proficiency in English. Mandarin, Japanese or Korean is an asset;
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and public holidays;
• Comfortable with working under stress;
• Dedicated to details.
