Description

Preparing the receiving/shipping dock for incoming and outgoing product
Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for completeness
Schedule distribution of goods and transportation conveyances
Prepare bills of lading, invoices and other shipping documents
Record shortages and reject damaged goods
Unpack goods received
Oversee loading and unloading of goods
Supervise material handlers and helpers
Pay and receive payments for goods
Inspect and verify incoming and outgoing goods against invoices or other documents
Affix identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments
