Job duties:
• Cut and trim meat, poultry, fish etc. as required.
• Prepare orders as per customers’ orders.
• Prepare meat items for displays.
• Remove bones and cut small and big size shapes of meat.
• Able to lace, tie and shape all the items.
• Able to use grinder and manual cutting utensil.
• Keep record of inventory and sales
• Check food storage conditions are adequate.
• Wrap and prepare package of fresh or frozen or prepared meats.
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of work area.
• Assist other meat cutters and butchers as required.
• Follow company guidelines and work as per set standard.
Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is Asset.
• Minimum 1-2 years experience is preferred.
Asset:
• Completion of a college or other meat-and-fish-cutting training program is asset.
