JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Education: Completion of Secondary school is required.
• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of related experience is required.
• Personal suitability: Goal-oriented, Client focus, Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Organized and Team player.
MAIN DUTIES OF A RETAIL STORE MANAGER:
• Plan, direct and evaluate the operations engaged in sales activities.
• Develop and execute marketing strategies and sign for deliveries.
• Manage staff requirements and complete performance evaluations and make sales reports.
• Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers.
• Manage escalated complaints and resolving issues that may arise including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
• Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and create strategies to increase the store efficiency.
• Locate, select and procure merchandise for resale.
• Determine merchandise and services to be sold and implement price and credit policies.
• Plan budgets, authorize expenditures, and monitor revenues.
• Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters.
• May perform other job duties as and when required such as opening and closing the store etc.
