Book41 Copyright Import Ltd. is a children's bookstore located in Vancouver, BC. We are currently seeking a full-time Marketing Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and implementing marketing strategies to promote our bookstore and increase sales.

Job Duties:

1. Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote Book41 and increase sales. This includes:
• Conducting market research to identify target audiences and trends, and developing targeted marketing campaigns accordingly.
• Creating a marketing plan that includes a mix of digital and traditional marketing tactics such as email marketing, social media, print advertising, and event marketing.
• Working with the management team to set marketing objectives, KPIs, and timelines.
• Creating and managing a marketing calendar to ensure timely execution of campaigns.
• Managing and optimizing the marketing budget to maximize ROI.
2. Coordinate and manage social media accounts, including creating and scheduling posts, responding to customer inquiries and comments, and analyzing engagement metrics to optimize social media performance.
3. Plan and execute email marketing campaigns, including creating newsletters and promotional materials, segmenting email lists, and analyzing email campaign performance to optimize results.
4. Collaborate with the management team to develop promotional materials, such as flyers and posters, and distribute them to targeted locations, such as schools and libraries.
5. Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities, and provide recommendations for improving marketing strategies. This includes:
• Collecting and analyzing data on market trends, customer preferences, and competitive activity.
• Staying up-to-date with industry developments and emerging trends.
• Using insights from research to inform and refine marketing strategies.
6. Measure and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make recommendations for improvements. This includes:
• Collecting and analyzing data on campaign performance, such as website traffic, social media engagement, and sales.
• Creating reports that summarize campaign performance and provide insights on areas for improvement.
• Using data to refine and optimize marketing strategies to improve campaign performance and ROI.
7. Work with the management team to develop and manage the marketing budget. This includes:
• Assist with creating a budget that aligns with marketing objectives and KPIs.
• Tracking and reporting on marketing spend.
• Analyzing ROI of marketing spend and making recommendations for adjustments as needed.
8. Coordinates pricing and merchandising of product, and compiles data for procurement.

Employment Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree or college diploma
• 1-2 years of experience in marketing or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Knowledge of marketing tools and techniques, such as social media, email marketing, and market research.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
