In response to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Social Media Marketing Specialist to join their team and spearhead innovative marketing strategies.

Position Overview
As a Social Media Marketing Specialist at Canadian Scenery Travel Inc., you will play a crucial role in driving the company's digital and social media marketing initiatives. Collaborating closely with the General Manager, you will contribute to the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement in the post-pandemic era.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a robust social media strategy aligned with our business goals.
- Manage accounts across various social media platforms, with a focus on Little Red Book, WeChat PR account, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.
- Monitor social media trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation.
- Create compelling and visually appealing content, including images, texts, and videos, to engage and captivate the target audience.
- Utilize creativity to tell captivating stories about travel experiences, destinations and our services.
- Ensure consistency in brand messaging across all digital platforms.
- Leverage experience with above-mentioned social media platforms to expand the company's presence in key markets.
- Stay updated on the latest features and trends on emerging platforms to stay ahead of the competition.
- Work closely with the General Manager to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives.
- Provide regular updates and marketing analysis on social media performance metrics and campaign effectiveness.
- Collaborate on the development of promotions, campaigns, and special events.
- Foster and maintain relationships with online travel communities, influencers, and key stakeholders.
- Respond to customer inquiries and comments promptly, ensuring a positive and interactive online presence.

Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience in social media and digital marketing, preferably in the travel or hospitality industry.
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Media, Design or any other related field.
- Proficient skills in creating engaging content, including editing photos, editing videos, and written copy. (working samples required)
- Familiarity with Little Red Book, WeChat PR accounts, and TikTok is an asset.
- Strong understanding of social media analytics and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Creative mindset with a passion for travel and exploration.
- Business travel is required
- Permanent Residence or Canadian Citizens are preferable.
